I’m Lizzie Clark — artist, surface pattern designer, and big believer in bringing joy to everyday.

My creative path took shape after my (loving!) husband fired me from our shared business and nudged me toward the artist he knew I was meant to be. What followed was 15 years in graphic design, a full recovery from a life-changing stroke, and an unexpected return to joy—thanks to collage art and a deep dive into surface pattern design. When I made my first repeating pattern, I was hooked.

My work today blends modern florals and organic motifs with a calming, often grey-toned palette (yes, I’m a grey girl!), influenced by Scandinavian and Japanese design. I now license my art to beloved brands and create my own line of sustainable kitchen and home goods—artful, useful pieces that reflect the beauty of everyday life. After two decades living in Northern Virginia, I’m sharing a home in State College, PA with my husband, a stained glass artist.
